Some services may also be governed by a separate Service Agreement.
Where there is an inconsistency between these Terms and a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement will generally apply to the specific services covered by that agreement, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
3. NDIS Services and Compliance
Yirra Care aims to provide services in accordance with applicable NDIS requirements, including relevant quality, safeguarding and conduct obligations.
Participants remain responsible for understanding their NDIS plan, available funding and funding management arrangements.
Yirra Care does not guarantee that:
-
A particular support will be funded by the NDIS
-
The NDIA will approve a requested support
-
A participant has sufficient funding for a service
-
A particular line item will be accepted by a plan manager
-
Funding will continue for any particular period
Participants, nominees and representatives should confirm funding availability before committing to services where appropriate.
4. The Yirra Care Planner App
The Yirra Care Planner App is a planning and quotation tool designed to help participants, nominees and representatives estimate potential support costs.
The Planner App may use information provided by the user together with applicable NDIS pricing information and Yirra Care service settings.
The Planner App may help users:
-
Estimate support costs
-
Compare service options
-
Prepare indicative budgets
-
Generate planning summaries
-
Request quotations
-
Review possible service combinations
The Planner App does not replace an NDIS plan, NDIA decision, support coordinator, plan manager, financial adviser, legal adviser or other qualified professional.
5. Planner App Estimates and Recommendations
Information generated by the Planner App is indicative only.
Results depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information entered by the user.
Planner App calculations do not guarantee:
-
NDIA approval
-
Availability of funding
-
Eligibility for a particular support
-
Availability of Yirra Care workers
-
Acceptance by a plan manager

Future pricing
-

Users should review generated information before relying on it.
Where clarification is required, participants should speak with their support coordinator, plan manager, nominee, financial intermediary or other relevant professional.

8. Pricing
NDIS-funded services are priced in accordance with:
-
The participant’s Service Agreement

-
Travel or additional approved costs apply

The scope of work changes
Where possible, Yirra Care will communicate material pricing changes before they affect future services.
9. Planner App Pricing
Any estimate generated by the Planner App is based on the information and pricing data available to the system at the time the estimate is created.
Because NDIS pricing and participant circumstances can change, a Planner App estimate may later differ from the amount charged for an actual service.
The final applicable price will be the price confirmed in the relevant quotation, Service Agreement or written service confirmation.
10. Quotations
A quotation may include:
-
Service type
-
Expected hours
-
Frequency
-
Applicable rate
-
Travel
-
Additional approved costs
-
Estimated annual or periodic cost
Unless expressly stated otherwise, quotations are estimates and do not guarantee:
-
NDIS funding approval
-
Worker availability
-
Service commencement
-
Long-term availability
-
Fixed annual expenditure
A quotation may need to be revised if the service scope or relevant pricing changes.
11. Service Agreements
Ongoing or funded services may require a Service Agreement between Yirra Care and the participant or authorised representative.
A Service Agreement may set out:
-
Services to be delivered

Pricing
-
Travel
-
Cancellation arrangements

The participant or representative should review the Service Agreement carefully before signing it.
12. Service Availability
Submitting an enquiry, using the Planner App, receiving a quotation or signing an expression of interest does not guarantee immediate service availability.

-
Self-managed invoices are paid within the agreed period
Where an invoice is disputed, the participant or representative should contact Yirra Care promptly so the matter can be reviewed.
15. Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellation charges are not automatically applied simply because a service is cancelled.
Where an NDIS-funded service is involved, Yirra Care may charge a short-notice cancellation only where permitted under the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and the participant’s Service Agreement.
Whether a cancellation can be charged may depend on factors such as:
-
The type of support
-
The amount of notice provided
-
Whether the worker could be reassigned

Applicable NDIS rules
-
The signed Service Agreement
Participants should provide as much notice as possible when cancelling a service.
